Refurbished HP LaserJet 4000
|

 Most
companies are "refurbishing" LaserJet 4000 printers
like this...they get a used printer, clean off the exterior
panels, if the feed rollers look worn they replace them with
low quality aftermarket rollers, maybe change the fixing film
in the fuser, print a few test pages and off it goes to the
customer. That's not much better than buying a used printer.
When
we rebuild this printer we replace all of the feed rollers,
separation rollers, pickup rollers, separation pads, and transfer
rollers with high quality HP parts. It's all OEM. The fuser
is completely rebuilt, tested, and has the same high quality
as the fusers we sell in our maintenance kits. We also take
the important step of installing a new paper feed assembly.
This isn't a cheap part but important since most printers
will start getting intermittent paper jams when this assembly
wears out. |

HP LaserJet 4000
The HP 4000 comes standard
with 4MB RAM and one 500-sheet tray.
HP LaserJet 4000N
The HP 4000N comes standard with 8 MB RAM, an HP JetDirect card
for connecting to a network, and one 500-sheet tray.
HP LaserJet 4000T
The HP LaserJet 4000T comes standard with 4 MB RAM and two 250-sheet
trays.
HP LaserJet 4000TN
The HP LaserJet 4000TN comes standard with 8 MB RAM, an HP JetDirect
card for connecting to a network, and two 250-sheet trays.

our refurbished laser printers. Remember, we're printer technicians,
not fast-talking sales people. Many companies sell what they claim
are “refurbished” printers, or they don’t tell you anything
about the condition of the printer. You'll never know what you're getting!

BE CAREFUL! |
We see it all the time; companies try to make a quick buck selling used
printers as refurbished printers. They clean the printer’s exterior,
run a few test pages, and ship it to the unsuspecting customer. These printers
have never been inspected by a competent technician and vital components
have never been replaced. The result is a printer that runs poorly and fails
prematurely. This is not the way we operate! |
