The standard 4250 does not include a network card.
If you need a network interface, we recommend two different network cards for the LaserJet 4250:
--the basic card is the J3113A which has proven to be a rock solid and reliable, no frills 10/100Base-TX card
--or the J7934A/G 10/100Base-TX card, which has the same 10/100 network speed and a newer Web interface.
These two cards are the most reliable of all of the Jetdirect cards; you can use different models of Jetdirect cards if you want but these two have the best reliability. The basic difference between the cards is a fancier Web interface in the upgrade card (J7934A/G). If you don't use the Web interface for the printer then go with the basic card.
The printer is priced to include the basic card (J3113A) unless you choose the upgrade option (available at checkout).

All LaserJet 4250 series printers from PrinterTechs have been upgraded with our exclusive metal swing plate gear.
This is a major improvement over HP's design. We've developed a solid brass gear and bearing to replace the cheap plastic gear (pictured on the left). The black plastic gear from HP has been known to wear out in under 100,000 pages. |
