 Most
companies are "refurbishing" LaserJet 5000 printers
like this...they get a used printer, clean off the exterior
panels, if the feed rollers look worn they replace them with
low quality aftermarket rollers, maybe change the fixing film
in the fuser, print a few test pages and off it goes to the
customer. That's not much better than buying a used printer.
When
we rebuild this printer we replace all of the feed rollers,
separation rollers, pickup rollers, separation pads, and transfer
rollers with high quality genuine HP parts. The fuser
is completely rebuilt, tested, and has the same high quality
as the fusers we sell in our maintenance kits. |
