Remove the toner cartridge if it hasn't already been removed. Locate the pickup roller.
Release the small tabs on each side of the pickup roller by pushing them away from the roller; and then remove the roller by rotating the roller upward and toward the front of the printer.
Position the new roller in the slot of the previous roller. Circular and rectangular pegs on each side prevent you from incorrectly positioning the roller. Align the pegs properly, and press down to lock the roller in place.
