The HP Color LaserJet CP4525dn series is a large, speedy color printer, perfect for workgroups. This printer is intended for medium to high volume color printing. Our refurbished CP4525dn includes a duplexer for two-sided printing, plus a built-in Ethernet port for connecting the printer to a network. This printer comes with a 500-sheet paper cassette and a 100-sheet manual feed tray.
One service step we take when refurbishing this printer is to put a new pad on the fuser drive assembly / Primary transfer disengagement solenoid. This solenoid is the cause of the 59.F0 error that can occur with this printer. It's a huge task to disassemble the printer to get at this solenoid but we feel it's very important. It's a big enough job that many companies don't bother with it. It's a one cent piece of felt to repad the solenoid but 2-3 hours labor to change. If you buy one of these printers you wan't to make sure this solenoid has been fixed with a new pad that doesn't stick.

- Toner cartridges for this model are large capacity, 11,000 page yield at 5% coverage. Smaller color LaserJets only print 2,000-4,000 pages per cartridge, resulting in a higher cost per page.
- LaserJet CP4525 remanufactured toners are readily available and reasonably priced. Toner cartridges for new printers tend to be ridiculously expensive.
