Not all toner cartridges are made the same!

The market for toner cartridges is filled with a wide spectrum of pricing and quality. New cartridges typically have the highest pricing and excellent quality. Remanufactured cartridges, usually referred to as compatible cartridges, have much lower pricing and range in quality from excellent to horrible. At PrinterTechs we sell only the best quality compatible cartridges available; these cartridges we believe are the best value on the market. The quality is excellent, you save money, and it’s environmentally friendly.

We get phone calls and emails all the time from companies trying to set us up as distributors for their low cost cartridges. We have tested cartridges from many of these sources only to be very disappointed in quality. Their sales reps insist they have low defect rates and great quality, but we’ve found the old adage to be true, "You get what you pay for". To cut costs, components inside these cartridges are either not replaced or replaced with the low quality parts. Many of these cartridges are imported from factories where quality control is abysmal. The bottom line is the cheapest cartridge generally print fewer pages, cause more print defects, and are more likely to leak toner.
