Steve, (or whomever gets this), We did order the printer and received it and the extra tray this afternoon. I had it set up, networked and going in under 10 minutes. I have to tell you I was impressed with the tray hardware, the internal upgraded hardware that you guys installed and it was amazingly like-new to look at! (I HAD to take the fuser out to get a look at the new drive wheel in person!..) It is definitely worthwhile to order refurbished printers from you guys... I even showed the boss the printer he paid for and he was pleased as well. I am double impressed and will always keep you guys in mind and pass referrals! PrinterTechs.com is an Awesome company to work with to resolve many common printing problems. They helped me determine over the phone which components I needed to buy for an issue we have been having with our HP LaserJet 4 Plus. We had issues with the paper getting jammed inside the tray on the entry, middle section and the output area. The last section the paper passed through would fan fold crinkle the paper. The tech I spoke to explained which components to order. I received the products promptly. PrinterTechs did a top-notch job with their online instructions for changing the parts out on the printer as well. I was able to easily read what to do, look at the pictures, and perform the change-out successfully. We returned our core parts as requested. I highly recommend this company for servicing your printer needs. |

Came in this evening to install the kits and was figuring on spending a few hours installing both…What a wonderful surprise I received when I had both kits installed and the printers back out on the floor in under 45 min………. Excellent I needed a toner cartridge and maintenance kit for my HP printer. I was going to buy a new kit because I’ve seen so much money wasted on remanufactured kits with bad fuser assemblies. I took some time searching the internet for the best prices and came upon PrinterTechs.com. First, they offered so much more information and just seemed much more knowledgeable than all the others! Their competitive prices are made even better with their trade-in offers. The best thing of all, you know you will get a tested part, and/or piece of equipment and will save a few bucks in the process. I know I saved quite a lot of money ($ hundreds) by purchasing from PrinterTechs.com and even more by buying a remanufactured maintenance instead of a new one! Call them! They are really helpful and friendly, too! (PS: I live in NJ and I am NOT related to anyone in this company!)

Excellent I purchased a maintenance kit (pads and fuser) for a HP LaserJet 2400. In addition to the required parts of the maintenace kit, PrinterTechs provided a gear that wears out on these printers fairly regularly - my old gear did show wear and I'm happy that replacing it may prevent a problem in the future. PrinterTechs.com has instructions for replacing every part in the maintenace kit, so I was able to do the entire job without calling for support. I'll get all my printer parts from them in the future!

Excellent I purchased a rebuilt HP 4000 for one of our home office computers from PrinterTechs. It was shipped in very good packing material and arrived on time. The person with whom I spoke on the phone was knowledgeable of all specs for various HP models, and quickly answered my questions concerning which model would best serve our needs. Excellent I purchased an HP LaserJet 5 fuser and maintenance kit from PrinterTechs.com, Inc. I liked the detailed online instructions with illustrative pictures to make the process easy for the non-techie. PrinterTechs.com, Inc.'s explanation of the use of remanufactured fusers and the need to replace some other parts at the same time with OEM parts from HP was clear and logical. The delivery time for standard shipping ($10) was only 4 days to a secondary city. The product arrived completely undamaged. Following the online illustrated instructions made the process a breeze. During the installation I had two questions due to my lack of technical expertise. Each call was answered within three rings by a knowledgeable technician completely familiar with the model of LaserJet I was working to rescue. There was no waiting AT ALL! What a relief! I had the printer up and running flawlessly in less than one hour. My longtime favorite was back in service! The installation process was so smooth I almost wish I had another printer to repair. To save $50 I shipped the old fuser back to PrinterTech.com, Inc., in the original box. They give you a month to do this, but I sent it back the next day so I could ship it by slow boat. One may find the product for less somewhere on the web, but I am convinced PrinterTech.com, Inc., is the best value--whether or not a person values his or her time. Would I order from them again? In a heartbeat!

Excellent Excellent service! Very informative web site with great instructions. It was very easy to determine which printer refurbishment kit to order and the installation instructions saved me calling for help. Order was received earlier than promised. Not having to pay a fuser core charge and wait for credit is a plus (they will charge you for it if not returned within 30 days.) The only downside I can think of is that they do not sell printer memory so I'll have to find another merchant for that. [PrinterTechs reply: Thanks for the good review, and actually, we do sell printer memory!]

Excellent When our office printer died we were ready to throw it away and invest [quite a bit of] money in a new unit... I came across www.printertechs.com as I did an online search to see if our printer could possibly be fixed. After reading the [very complete] information on printertechs.com's website I decided to try to fix the unit myself. The refurbished fuser kit that I purchased arrived right on time and was packaged very well. Using the well-illustrated and clear instructions on the printertech.com website I was able to replace the broken part and related rollers in less than 30 mins without any special tools. I was able to completely fix the printer in less time [from placing the order to plugging the unit back in] than it would have taken to receive a new unit from our IT supplier [Dell}. I was REALLY impressed and would strongly recommend PrinterTechs again.

Excellent We purchased a maintenance kit and fuser for an HP LaserJet. The items were shipped the same day. The items arrived in a few days and were well packaged. Parts looked identical to the parts being replaced. Online instructions and clear photographs made the process simple and painless. Total time to replace fuser, rollers, pad, transfer roller for someone who had not previously done this work was 20 minutes. When we do the next one, we expect that it will only take about 10 minutes with time for a cup of coffee. EASY!!! We shipped the old fuser back in the same packaging that was used to send the new parts. Compared to a local shops quote for the same work, we saved $130 on parts and labor. And we have essentially a new printer. We will be ordering from PrinterTechs.com again. Highly recommended.

The new fuser had a small problem (it would have functioned fine, but wasnt the perfect rebuild that I expected). I contacted customer service and they quickly and pleasantly rectified the problem in the manner that I desired. Although it wasn't a perfect transaction, they were very good to deal with, which in my opinion is the most important part of a business transaction. I would do business with this vendor in the future. |
